ANTEPARTAL
AND INTRAPARTAL FETAL MONITORING REVIEWS |
| A
Reader From California
Michelle
is the guru of fetal monitoring. She's simply
the nation's foremost authority on the subject
and all the rest are imitators. I've heard
her speak several times in my nursing career
and keep her books in my locker at work. A
Ph.D., expert witness and professional speaker,
if Michelle doesn't know the answer, no one
does. If you're a labor/delivery nurse, midwife
or physician, this is the information you need
to approach your patients in a sane and safe
manner. |

This
is the Bible of the baby-monitoring business.
The top medical experts in the field have written
books on fetal assessment. This [text] is the
best-written, and is superbly successful in
teaching how to monitor a fetus, what the monitor
will show, and why - at several levels. An
excellent workbook and reference for bedside
nurses and MDs alike, this is the one book
you need first and foremost.

Wonderful
book with a lot of information. If you
work in labor and delivery, this is a
must read, and keep it in your unit for
a backup.

The
most in-depth book on fetal monitoring I've
ever seen. I am an RN working in a labor and
delivery and high risk antepartum unit and
have taken a number of advanced fetal monitoring
classes. I was shown this book by a coworker
and couldn't believe how much I really didn't
know. The author presents the material in a
manner that's easy to understand. Resources
are provided after every chapter. Needless
to say, I ran right out and ordered one for
myself!
