Dr. Michelle L. Murray was certified in fetal monitoring in 1987 by Dr. Roger Freeman's group at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. For more than two decades, Dr. Murray has presented seminars to thousands of nurses, midwives and physicians across the United States and Canada. She has written and produced best-selling fetal monitoring resources including books, a monograph, a CD-ROM, and her indispensible "Guide to Fetal Monitoring and Labor Management" cards.

Dr. Murray’s publications have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as JOGNN, MCN, and The Journal of Perinatology, and she has received awards of excellence in education from Sigma Theta Tau New Mexico and AWHONN District VIII.
